FAQ
Pat's Top Five...
1. "I have some weight too loose before I am ready to invest in a new wardrobe what can I do in the mean time?"
Answer: No matter what your weight or size make sure that the clothes you are wearing fits correctly. Ill-fitting clothing will add weight because they appear to tight and loose fitting clothing adds a lack of grooming to your self-image.
2. "I do not understand the difference between professional business dress and business casual."
Answer: Business Casual is only a slight step down from your professional business attire. The question is what is your business attire. If you normally wear a suit every day, business casual is but a slight step down. A nicely pressed solid or geometric print golf shirt, silk shirt or silk T-shirt under a jacket. Women would go from a skirted suit to a pantsuit or a sweater-set or cotton shirt will a suit pant. Sometimes it is as simple as a change of shoe style for men and women.
3. "It is hard to dress professional when everyone else seems unaware or it is not important to them. How do I handle this?"
Answer: First be true to yourself. Next, it is not about them! It is how your manor of dress makes you feel and perform at your job. If you are dressed professionally you will fill more confident to handle your duties and be prepared for anything that might come up on any given day.
4. "I do not need to wear suits to work what is considered business dress for my situation?"
Answer: It does not matter what your employment situation is there should be a dress code either from your company or from within you. Grooming is the key to dress and the key word for dress is appropriate attire. People think "I'm covered, isn't that enough?' The answer is NO.
5. "If I hire you what can I expect?'
Answer: My goal for you is to guide, mentor and help your to be prepared for whatever comes your way. I want to know what your objective is and then try to develop a plan that you are comfortable with to fulfill that objective.

"Pat Newquist is great! She is creative, original and fun, but always 100% professional. I'm one of those guys that really hate to shop, but Pat makes the whole experience both pleasant and productive. If it wasn't for the fact that I want to keep her all to myself, I'd have absolutely no trouble recommending her to anyone!" -- Paul Coppinger, APPS Software Int.
"With only a few seconds to make a first impression, Pat has shown me how to maximize the short time we have." -- Barbara Kaplan, Design Dimensions
"Words alone could not justify how I feel about your services...as anyone who is considering your service knows, Image is everything. It is also unfortunately a habit, a routine and a rut for those of us who have the wrong image...I admit I was and have been resistive to suggestions, however, I am learning to trust your judgment and break out of my old image box and create a new, better one. This has been a lot easier for me to do as I have and continue to get wonderful comments. As a management consultant and investment banker, my advice to any potential client would be to "go for it," as you have to try them to really appreciate your talents.Pat, I thank you, and I thank my guardian angel for steering me your way. You are wonderful and fantastic, and I wish you much success." -- D.R.W.
"I've always loved clothes and feel I have nice taste in clothes. I can always choose between good and better, but Pat guides me from better to the very best -- in style, quality, value and consistency. Her goal was to have all of my choices look spectacular and work together -- and she achieved that. I get dressed in an instant and know that I look fabulous. And best of all, I saved time and money. She never advised me to buy anything that didn't work with multiple pieces. I have a classy, stylish (and younger-looking) wardrobe. I am very conservative with my money, and never in a million years would have thought I would spend money on an image consultant. But now I would not consider NOT taking advantage of Pat's services. She is also extremely nice and a total pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough." --Barbara McDugald, Vice President and General Counsel, Security Title Agency
